Communities at the State Bar of Arizona
Volunteers provide important skills, experiences and perspectives necessary to ensure the State Bar of Arizona furthers its mission to serve the public and improve the competency of Arizona lawyers. The State Bar is committed to promoting diversity within its Communities in order to recognize and reflect the range of groups we serve.
Thank you for your interest in serving on a State Bar committee, working or advisory group. Our application period has closed for this year, but watch eLegal in the spring for opportunities for 2022.
Consider the myriad opportunities for a supportive and collegial community of legal professionals. Engage with other members by:
- Serving on a committee, advisory group or task force that might provide policy or program guidance to the Board of Governors
- Becoming a member in one of the 30 sections covering a wide array of practice areas which provides educational programs and networking events
- Participating in the Young Lawyers Division representing all members 37 years or younger or in practice 5 years or less in networking events and service projects
- Joining our partner bar associations throughout Arizona
