Arizona Attorney Responds: Law Day 2022 Clinic helps 87
PHOENIX – May 5, 2022 – The State Bar of Arizona held a free legal clinic in honor of Law Day April 30. Twelve attorneys volunteered to give members of the public free 30-minute legal consultations in six areas of law, including Family Law, Bankruptcy, Wills & Estates, Immigration, Landlord/Tenant and Employment Law. This virtual clinic allowed people to participate from as close as Yavapai County to as far away as Japan. Eighty-seven people received legal help. Arizona attorneys aided individuals with everything from filling out forms and answering questions to looking up and responding to court orders. The State Bar will be holding its monthly clinic, Wednesday May 25, which will focus on Family Law and Wills & Estate. The 12 attorneys who volunteered include: Laura Lawless, Matt Norton, Jeff Katz, Robin Dugas, Lewis Liebler, Tracy Essig, Marc Paquette, Roman Kostenko, Thea Gilbert, Paul Nordini, Susan Dana-Kobey, and Jill Ann Herman.
