State Bar of Arizona Wins ACLEA's Best Award
The Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) has awarded the State Bar of Arizona one of only 10 annual awards granted to competitors representing more than 300 organizations.
An Award for Professional Excellence was given to the State Bar of Arizona for its newly created resource, Quick Reference Guides, in the Best Publications category.
The State Bar of Arizona's Quick Reference Guides were created to provide practice area information in a practical, easy-to-read package to assist newly admitted lawyers and lawyers new to a practice area, the ability to quickly access information. With the Continuing Legal Education department, working groups consisting of members in the areas of Family Law and Probate and Trust Law, provided content for the Arizona Probate Procedures Guide & Trust Administration Checklist and the Arizona Divorce Procedure Checklist & Time Limits for Actions in Family Law Litigation.
The active working group members included:
Asmahan Akam, Louis Comus, Jr., Jessica Cotter, Jeanne Vatterott-Gale, Joy Garvey, Marsha Goodman, David Horowitz, Taylor House, Negar Katirai, Caleb Lihn, Carla Miramontes, Lisa Moore, and Ilona Kukan (staff).
ACLEA formally presented the award to the State Bar of Arizona at the Annual Meeting of ACLEA held virtually on July 28, 2020.
