Real Estate Law Legal Specialization

Board-Certified Specialists are Experienced. Respected. Tested. Certified.

 

If you have been admitted to the practice of law for at least 7 years with at least the last 3 in the State of Arizona, and have engaged in legal practice equivalent to at least 50% of a full-time practice, you are eligible to apply to become Board certified as a Real Estate Law legal specialist.  Combine these qualifications with your high ethical standards, excellent peer reviews, specialized legal education, and tested knowledge to achieve this honorable distinction.

Your experience will be measured by your substantial involvement in the field of Real Estate Law during at least 5 of the preceding 7 years, including the year immediately preceding your application, and annually devoting 50% of a full-time practice to matters in which issues of real estate are significant factors, including:

  • Leases and options, residential and commercial
  • Eminent domain
  • Zoning
  • Real Estate securities
  • Real Estate finance
  • Foreclosure and forfeiture proceedings
  • Environmental law
  • Community Association law
  • Real Estate transactions
  • Agency and fiduciary relationships relating to the other categories listed here
  • Real Estate related litigation or Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Water Law
  • Mineral rights
  • Subdivision Law
