Employment and Labor Law CLE Committee
The Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Employment and
Labor Law Section is responsible for providing Section and State
Bar members with continuing legal education seminars on labor and
employment law issues. The Committee, which meets monthly, is
comprised of the program chairs for the various annual, monthly and
periodic seminars sponsored by the Section, as well as the Section
Newsletter editors, the editors of the employment law theme issue
of the Arizona Attorney, a liaison to other State Bar sections, and
at-large members. The CLE Committee and the respective chairs plan
and implement the annual Convention seminar, the annual Fall
employment law seminar, the monthly Phoenix and Tucson lunch
seminar programs, and periodic outlying-area seminars held in
conjunction with county bar associations. Through its Section
Liaison, the Committee periodically co-sponsors programs with other
State Bar Sections. The Committee and the editors publish the
quarterly Section Newsletter for Section members and a bi-annual
employment and labor law theme issue of the Arizona Attorney.
In its effort to keep Section members up to date on developments
in the field and to assist them in meeting MCLE requirements, the
CLE Committee strives to present valuable, interesting, useful,
balanced and diverse programs on current topics in the subject
area. The Committee is always seeking speakers, writers and topics
for its programs and publications. If you are interested, please
contact the CLE Committee Chair.
