Law Office Management Assistance (LOMAP)
In today's tight legal economy, lawyers are looking for ways to
improve efficiency and profitability - from solo practitioners to
large private firms and public offices trying to stay within
prescribed budgets and handle increasing caseloads.
In 1992, the State Bar of Arizona recognized these and other
management challenges, such as those faced by attorneys in
establishing or changing their practices, and established the Law
Office Management Assistance Program, frequently called LOMAP.
Through this program, State Bar members can get helpful
information about technology, case management software, trust
accounting, cloud solutions, social media, marketing, setting up a
law practice, closing a law practice and more.
LOMAP offers a wide range of information about general office
maintenance, practice management specific problems, reference
materials for setting up a new office, using social media, setting
up a website and more. LOMAP may also be offered as a diversion to
disciplinary proceedings under certain circumstances. (9.94)
