Public Member Appointed to Serve on State Bar Board
PHOENIX – Oct. 10, 2017 – Members of the State Bar of Arizona Board of Governors have selected Robyn Austin of Tucson as the newest Board member.
Austin, the Community Liaison for Tucson Federal Credit Union, is one of four non-lawyers who serve on the Board. The Board is the governing body of the State Bar, a nonprofit association that regulates lawyers in Arizona and serves the public.
Participation of public members is essential to the State Bar's mission of serving and protecting the public with respect to the provision of legal services and access to justice, and its efforts of making sure the people of Arizona have a strong voice in the legal system.
