Fraudulent Billing Practices Leads to Interim Suspension
of Attorney Judd S. Nemiro of Phoenix

PHOENIX – July 25, 2017 – The Presiding Disciplinary Judge of the Arizona Supreme Court issued an order placing Judd S. Nemiro of Phoenix on interim suspension.

On July 17, 2017, the Presiding Disciplinary Judge accepted an agreement for discipline by consent between Nemiro and the State Bar of Arizona that resulted in an interim suspension

The State Bar of Arizona alleged that Nemiro engaged in conduct that has caused, or is likely to cause, immediate and substantial harm to clients, the public, or the administration of justice. The conduct included engaging in fraudulent billing practices, abandoning clients, and mismanaging his client trust account.

Nemiro's interim suspension shall be enforced until the final disposition of all pending proceedings against him.

He was ordered to notify current clients of his interim suspension. Nemiro shall not accept new clients and is precluded from accepting funds for that purpose.

Nemiro's interim suspension was effective July 17, 2017.
