The Chief Justice appointed the Arizona Case Processing Steering Committee in October of 2012 with the charge of recommending standards for processing Arizona's court cases. The steering committee, chaired by Justice Brutinel, has reviewed the "Model Time Standards for State Trial Courts" published by the National Center for State Courts as well as applicable Arizona rules and statutes in order to establish initial recommendations for standards concerning the following case types:
- Probate Administration of Estates
- Probate Guardianship/Conservatorship
- Probate Mental Health
The preliminary recommendations for case processing standards in the superior, justice, and municipal courts have been posted on the link below and you are invited to post your comments. Please feel free to share this website with members of the legal community in your jurisdiction.
The Steering Committee will review the comments and feedback posted on the website in order to revise the recommended standards. The website will be available through May 31, 2013 for comment.
