Young Lawyer Divisions Bring Smiles to Disadvantaged Children

Attorneys from the Young Lawyers Divisions in Maricopa and Pima
Counties brought smiles to nearly 400 disadvantaged children at
their annual holiday parties held in Phoenix and Tucson.
In Phoenix, the Maricopa County Young Lawyers Division hosted
100 children at Peter Piper Pizza on Saturday, December 11, 2010.
The children from the Sunshine Group Home received two movie
vouchers as well as tokens for the arcade games and activities. And
of course, pizza. Lots of pizza!
In Tucson, the Pima County Young Lawyers Division hosted nearly
300 children at Pump It Up on Friday, December 17, 2010. The
children from St. Nicholas of Myra Adoption Center romped on the
inflatables, ate delicious food and received gifts at the holiday
party.
Both the Young Lawyer Divisions host the parties to provide a
fun-filled holiday escape for disadvantaged children that come from
unsafe home environments. Both St. Nick's and the Sunshine Group
Home provide safe havens for children that have been abused,
neglected or abandoned.
