INTEREST ON LAWYERS' TRUST ACCOUNTS (IOLTA)
The Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education administers the IOLTA program under a mandate found in Rule 43, Ariz. R. Sup. Ct. Funds derived from such accounts support programs to deliver legal services to the poor, educate children about the law, and improve the administration of justice.
To comply with this rule, each Arizona attorney who receives client funds must establish an interest-bearing client trust account directing that the interest be sent to the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education, and register their compliance.
