Every person licensed to practice law in Arizona is an active member of the State Bar, except for persons who are inactive, retired, suspended, or judicialmembers. To verify if a person is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, simply visit the Find a Lawyer feature on our homepage.
According to Rule 34 of the Arizona Supreme Court:
Persons desiring to be admitted to the practice of law in the State of Arizona may apply for admission by one of three methods: (1) admission by Arizona uniform bar examination, (2) admission on motion, or (3) admission by transfer of uniform bar examination score from another jurisdiction.
