Membership

Members of the State Bar of Arizona join colleagues in an honored profession dedicated to serving those in need of legal services and safeguarding our justice system.

Every person licensed to practice law in Arizona is an active member of the State Bar, except for persons who are inactive, retired, suspended, or judicial membe rs.

The State Bar offers a wide range of services, products and programs designed to help members develop professionally and better serve their clients.

New attorneys (37 or younger or with five years or less in practice) automatically become a member of our Young Lawyers Division at no cost.  Members may also join one or more of our 28 sections at any time during the year.
