The State Bar of Arizona offers an integrated marketing program for businesses that want to sell their products and services to attorneys and law firms. According to one marketing consultant, an advertiser needs to make nine impressions a year to effectively market products and services to attorneys. Our integrated marketing program is the only one that reaches every attorney in Arizona, providing you with total coverage of this target market. Please consider these following marketing opportunities to help give your advertising plan the frequency and variety it needs to meet your sales goals:

•  Arizona Attorney Magazine – The magazine, which is published 11 times a year, is the official journal for the State Bar of Arizona. With a circulation of 17,300+, Arizona Attorney reaches every licensed attorney and judge in the state, as well as more than 100 of the legal administrators and legal marketers at our most successful firms. •  Annual Convention – Our annual meeting is held every June. About 1,900 lawyers are expected to attend. Booths are $2,450 each and include a half-page full-color ad in the convention catalog that will be mailed to all 17,000 members. The catalog provides the information and forms members need to register for the convention events. Because the publication also serves as the guide book that tells attendees when and where their events will be held, the catalog will be retained for more than 8 weeks by the members who attend the convention. Booths go on sale February 1 and always sell out quickly.

•  Membership Directory – Every fall, we publish this 500-page reference book that is rated by our members as the #1 benefit we provide them. It contains complete contact information for every attorney in the state as well as contact information for many of the courts and administrative offices. A typical member refers to the directory 1-3 times per week during the course of the year. The directory also has numerous display ads and yellow pages listings for members, certified legal specialists, expert witnesses, and other professional service providers. Directory advertising goes on sale in March.

•  CLE by the Sea – About 500 attorneys are expected to attend this very exclusive event, which is held in July at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego. CLE by the Sea is a favorite event for influential attorneys and managing partners because it offers them a chance to complete their annual CLE requirement of 15 hours during the mornings while giving them the opportunity to enjoy the beach in the afternoon and San Diego at night. Tabletop exhibits are only $950.

•  AzBar Online Yellow Pages – For only $295/year, expert witnesses and other professional service providers can list their businesses in our online marketplace. Each listing includes basic contact information and a 60-word text description of the services offered. You can also hotlink your e-mail address and web address in your listing. You can sign up for this advertising service at anytime. We also offer a limited supply of banner ads on our web pages.

•  Expert Witness Guide – This special advertising section will be published in the March issue of Arizona Attorney magazine. Basic listings are only $125 each and include a 60-word text description of the services offered. Full-color display ads can be purchased at reduced rates. Ads will go on sale October.

•  Law Office & Trial Support Services Guide – This special advertising section is published in the May issue of Arizona Attorney magazine. Basic listings will be $125 and include 60-word text descriptions of the advertiser’s service. Full-color display ads are available at reduced rates. Ads will go on sale in December.

•  Mailing Lists – Mailing lists are available for limited one-time use. The charge is 35 cents per record, with a minimum order of $500. The entire membership file can be purchased for $2,950. The lists can be sorted by county and practice area.

•  Personal Selling Opportunities – Tabletop exhibits at numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars and other events are available year round. Costs for the exhibits ($300-$950) vary according to the expected attendance at the event. With proper planning, sponsors are able to receive a mention in the program materials and from the podium.
