Q: What happens if I write an insufficient-funds check on my client-trust account?

A: By being an approved financial institution, your bank has agreed to report any insufficient-funds checks on client-trust accounts to the State Bar. The report will be investigated as a bar complaint. Refer to Rule 43(f).

Consumers get Clarity from Volunteer Attorneys Regarding President Obama's Executive Order on Immigration: Nine attorneys came together last Friday, November 21 for a special edition of the State Bar of Arizona and Univision 33's Abogados a Su Lado (attorneys on your side) public service program. In response to the executive order issued by President Obama on Thursday, November 20, both the Bar and Univision organized a phone bank that would help clarify consumers' questions regarding immigration law, as well as inform them of the initial details regarding the President's executive order. The State Bar of Arizona offers its sincerest appreciation to the volunteer attorneys who helped consumers across the Valley through this access to justice program.
