Q: My former client posted a bad review about me on a consumer website. May I respond to it on the website?


A: Yes, but your response must be limited to the strict facts necessary to controvert the claim being made, because you still owe the duty of confidentiality to your former client. See ER 1.6(d)(4).

Bar Members Asked to Comment: The Civil Jury Instruction Committee of the State Bar of Arizona has submitted proposed new instructions and revisions to the current 2005 civil jury instructions.  The Rules Committee is requesting a review of the proposed changes, and is asking members for any comments or feedback.
