Give to legal charities and earn a tax credit at the same time!

How would you like to donate money to help legal services in Arizona and then get all that money back? You can do it by making a donation to legal aid organizations that qualify for the Working Poor Tax Credit.

Among the qualifying organizations that rely on funding from Arizona's legal community are:

Arizona Bar Foundation/Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education

Arizona Women's Education & Employment Inc. - Legal Advocacy

Christian Legal Aid of Arizona

Community Legal Services

Defenders of Children

DNA People's Legal Services

Southern Arizona Legal Aid (SALA)

Tucson Family Advocacy Program - SALA

William E. Morris Institute for Justice

You can earn a tax credit by donating to qualifying charitable organizations under Arizona tax laws (A.R.S. § 43-1088). Cash donations are entitled to a tax credit of up to $200 for an individual and $400 for a married couple filing their joint return.

Remember, the entire amount will be returned to you when you file your taxes next year!

For additional information and to make sure you qualify, check with your tax advisor or visit the Arizona Department of Revenue's website. Remember, this is separate from the Arizona School Tax Credits. You can give to both and get all the money back.

Our Arizona legal community can make a difference! Please donate whatever you can afford. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
