Law Sections, Committees, & Young Lawyers Division
The
State Bar of Arizona has 28 Sections organized
around specific areas of law and legal practice. Those groups
sponsor conferences, continuing legal education seminars and
courses, publish newsletters, books and pamphlets, monitor
legislation, conduct studies, as well as make policy
recommendations to the State Bar Board of Governors.
The State Bar has standing and ad hoc
committees to advise and serve the State Bar by
overseeing programs, addressing current issues, and to make
recommendations about the delivery of legal services and the
administration of justice.
Also, the State Bar's Young Lawyer's Division
is comprised of all Arizona attorneys under 36 years of age or in
practice less than five years. The Young Lawyer's Division offers
associate membership to students attending Arizona law schools.
