CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION The State Bar of Arizona is a primary provider of continuing legal education in Arizona. While geared to an attorney audience, our programs are of interested and attended by other professionals for their personal interest and often professional education credit. Annually, we present nearly 90 live seminars and offer an extensive curriculum of live webcasts, online programs, as well as audio and video programs. We offer valuable publication resources including 25 book titles. More information, our catalog of products, and our calendar of upcoming seminars is available at www.myazbar.org/CLE MANDATORY CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION The Supreme Court of Arizona established Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) in 1989. In order to maintain effective service to clients, each active member of the State Bar of Arizona must complete 15 hours of continuing legal education each year (including three hours in ethics education) and submit and Affidavit affirming compliance with the requirements. The State Bar of Arizona is unique in that it does not pre-approve or pre-certify the programs attended by our attorneys. Check here for more detailed information about the MCLE program. You may also send an e-mail inquiry to the staff liaison. |
