2008 Marketing Opportunities

  1. Arizona Attorney - The magazine, which is published 11 times a year, is the official journal for the State Bar of Arizona. With a circulation of 18,000+, Arizona Attorney reaches every licensed attorney and judge in the state, as well as more than 100 of the legal administrators and legal marketers at our most successful firms.   2. 2008 Annual Convention – The largest annual legal event in Arizona will be held June 18-20, 2008 at the fabulous Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson. About 1,500 lawyers are expected to attend. Booths are $2,195-$2,695 each and include a half-page full-color ad in the convention catalog that will be mailed to all 18,000 members. The catalog provides the information and forms members need to register for the convention events. Because the publication also serves as the guidebook that tells attendees when and where their events will be held, the catalog will be retained by the members who attend the convention. Booths go on sale January 2, 2008 and always sell out quickly.

  3. 2008 Membership Directory – In October 2008 we will publish this 500-page reference book that is rated by our members as the #1 benefit we provide them. It contains complete contact information for every attorney in the state as well as contact information for many of the courts and administrative offices. A typical member refers to the directory 1-3 times per week during the course of the year. The directory also has numerous display ads and yellow pages listings for certified legal specialists, expert witnesses, and other professional service providers. Directory advertising goes on sale in April 2008.

  4. CLE by the Sea – About 500 attorneys are expected to attend this very exclusive event, which will be held July 16-19, 2008 at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego. CLE by the Sea is a favorite event for influential attorneys and managing partners because it offers them a chance to complete their annual CLE requirement of 15 hours during the mornings while giving them the opportunity to enjoy the beach in the afternoon and San Diego at night. Tabletop exhibits are only $950 and are currently on sale.

  5. AzBar Online Yellow Pages – For only $325/year, expert witnesses and other professional service providers can list their businesses in our online marketplace. Each listing includes basic contact information and a 60-word text description of the services offered. You can also hotlink your e-mail address and web address in your listing.   6. Expert Witness Guide – This special advertising section will be published in the March 2008 issue of Arizona Attorney magazine. Listings are only $145 each and include a 60-word text description of the services offered. Full-color display ads can be purchased at reduced rates. Ads will go on sale October 2007.

  7. Lawyer-to-Lawyer Referral Guide – This special advertising section will be published in the April 2008 issue of Arizona Attorney Magazine. Listings will be $145 and include 60-word text descriptions of the advertising lawyer’s practice. Full-color display ads also will be available. Ads will go on sale November 2007.

  8. Law Office & Trial Support Services Guide – This special advertising section will be published in the May 2008 issue of Arizona Attorney magazine. Listings will be $145 and include 60-word text descriptions of the advertiser's service. Full-color display ads will be available at reduced rates. Ads will go on sale December 2007.

  9. Mailing Lists – On occasion, we will lease our membership mailing list for limited, one-time use. The cost of the list is 35 cents per label (30 cents per electronic record) with a minimum order of $500. The entire list of 13,000+ active attorneys may be leased for limited, one-time use at a cost of $2950. We require pre-approval of all mailing materials before we can lease you the list. The list includes mailing information only (member name and business mailing address), no telephone numbers, no fax numbers, no e-mail addresses. We do not allow cold-calling of any kind (no telemarketing via phone or fax, no spam, and no dropping by without an appointment). We charge $25 every time we query our database on your behalf. The first $25 charge is waived if you lease the list.
